Ever wonder how many books are in the world right this second?  Not just the huge amount likely in your TBR pile, and not ever single duplicate, but ever single different book?

GalleyCat posted Google's assessment of the total:  just shy of 130,000,000....

This little cutie better get busy:

Her mom has a blog that has the baby in various cute "scenes".  Check it out, it's amazing!

  1. Wow! that's a lot of books. lol I saw this tweet earlier today and i couldn't believe it but i think its great that people are still interested in books (and reading).

Oh and she is a little cutie : )

  2. holy moly that's alot of books! meanwhile, i've finally got around to reading some books for the scandinavian writer's challenge! i'll email you my reviews soon.

  3. Wow.

At my rate of around 150 books per year that's 865,765 years' worth of reading ahead of me.

  4. Wow! Some days it feels like half of those are here in my house! LOL

  5. Bernadette...seriously, pick up the pace! come it feels like there's nothing to read sometimes with so many books?
